Current Systems Audit

Through a unified inventory system: stock levels sync between the warehouse, online store, and retail locations in real time. Customers can order online and pick up in-store (click & collect), return online purchases at a physical location, or receive an in-store discount on their next online purchase.

Data migration is a standard step. We transfer customers with their order history, loyalty points, and delivery addresses. Old passwords are migrated or a reset is offered on first login. Loyalty cards are linked to online accounts. The process is transparent to customers.

For most retailers, a PWA is sufficient: a responsive website with push notifications and home screen installation. A native app is justified with 50,000+ active buyers, a complex loyalty program, or the need for camera/NFC functionality. We recommend starting with PWA and moving to native upon confirmed demand.

A unified rewards system links online and offline channels: points earned from in-store and online purchases, redeemable in either channel. We use a single customer identifier (phone or email), with real-time balance sync via API. We complement this with personalized offers based on purchase history across both channels.

The minimum set: accounting software for inventory and price sync, a payment gateway, 2-3 shipping services, and fiscal compliance. For full omnichannel capability, add: CRM for a unified customer card, SMS gateway for notifications, marketplace integrations, and analytics (Google Analytics 4).

We use message queues (Redis/RabbitMQ) for instant sync on every inventory change: POS sale, warehouse receipt, online order. Update delay is under 5 seconds. Cart-level stock reservation prevents overselling. For fault tolerance, we duplicate with a full sync every 15 minutes.
